Dear Parents, We regret to inform you that a student in at the High School has tested positive for Covid-19. We are currently working with the health department on “contact tracing”. All close contacts have been notified. We are following guidelines as feasible to decrease the potential spread. Should your child/children start exhibiting COVID related symptoms, it is strongly recommended that you contact their primary care physician or the local health department to have them tested immediately. Please remember to Wear your mask, Wash your hands, and Watch your distance as those under 16 years of age are not eligible for COVID-19 vaccine. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Wagoner Health Department @ 918-485-3022. Sincerely, Amanda Albin, BSN, RN Wagoner Public School District Nurse 918-485-4046 ex 2488

Wagoner Public Schools will continue a 4 day week for the week of March 9th-12th. Wagoner County has moved into the “Yellow” designation from the OSSBA Covid Map. We will begin recommending (not requiring) masks for Grades PK-3rd. We are still requiring masks for grades 4-12 when social distancing is not possible. We will continue this approach until after our teachers have had the opportunity to receive immunity from their 2nd round of the vaccine on April 6th. These guidelines are only in effect for “Yellow” county designation.

Due to Wagoner still being in the RED according to the OSSBA Covid Map, we will be virtual for the week of February 2nd-5th. As stated earlier this week, we will plan on returning to our A/B schedule for the week of February 9th-12th barring a huge spike in numbers. We have appreciated your patience during this time and are excited to get our students back into their school buildings very soon.
