We are delighted to congratulate senior Adam Luna on his selection as a Presidential Scholar at The University of Tulsa! Adam competed for this distinguished award with hundreds of ambitious students from around the world who showed exceptional performance in a college preparatory curriculum. This year's group of applicants was unrivaled in terms of leadership, service and personal character.
This designation carries with it the Presidential Scholarship which covers full-time tuition for a maximum of eight consecutive undergraduate semesters or the first undergraduate degree, whichever may come first. This scholarship has a value of $50,760 for the 2025-26 academic year, and renews each year of undergraduate study.
UTulsa’s Presidential Scholars have distinguished themselves in many ways as undergraduates, from winning national awards to holding campus leadership positions to co-authoring papers and articles with professors.
Adam was also notified of his selection to the University of Tulsa's Leadership TU Program and he was chosen to participate in the Friends of Finance Scholarship Program. Both programs will provide opportunities to interact with national, state and local leaders through a variety of co-curricular opportunities including speaker series led by TU President Brad Carson, Provost George Justice, and a host of local, state and national business leaders. He will also participate in a variety of networking events and leadership training.
Adam is the first Wagoner senior to receive the Presidential Scholarship from the University of Tulsa. Adam competed for and was offered leadership scholarships at 5 different universities, which is an amazing accomplishment!

Lance Bebee was selected as a member of the University of Oklahoma President’s Leadership Class. This recognition celebrates outstanding leadership activities and service activities. More than 10,000 applicants were considered for PLC, and Lance is one of only 125 incoming freshmen selected for the program and scholarship. As a PLC member, Lance will receive a scholarship and enjoy countless other benefits of being part of this prestigious program. Lance will soon take his place as a member of the 65th President’s Leadership Class at the University of Oklahoma! Congratulations to Lance on his dedication to leadership and this tremendous honor.
Congratulations to Hadleigh Davis for qualifying for the Class 4A State Golf Tournament as an individual for the second year in a row! Her dedication, skill, and hard work continue to shine on the course. We’re so proud of you, Hadleigh — go represent Wagoner with pride!
We’re proud of our WHS Baseball team for stepping up and serving our community! The team spent time today helping pass out food for Catholic Charities, showing that being a Bulldog means more than just playing ball — it’s about heart, service, and teamwork on and off the field.

🌟 We are ecstatic to announce that Eedrick Johnson has been selected as one of 750 Scholars chosen from a pool of over 48,000 applicants from across the nation as a #Gatesscholar. Eedrick joins an elite group of young leaders—all of whom represent the very pinnacle of academic achievement, service, and commitment.
In addition to completely funding his undergraduate education, The Gates Scholarship will help Eedrick continue to hone his leadership skills, prepare for professional life, and start building an enduring network of fellow Scholars and other distinguished individuals. He will also have access to a range of support services, including mentoring, leadership development, wellness, career guidance, internship and job opportunities, and more. The Gates Scholarship is a competitive national scholarship program for minority students that demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership and community service.

Haydin Brewer was recently notified of his selection for the President’s Leadership Class Scholarship at Connors State College!
The Connor’s President’s Leadership Class Scholarship is a highly competitive scholarship based on academic excellence, leadership, school involvement and community service. PLC Students have the opportunity to develop leadership skills through coursework and PLC activities. PLC members serve as ambassadors on campus, in the community and at statewide events. Connor’s PLC members are selected from a competitive application pool and interview process. PLC students receive a total of $3200 per year toward tuition and campus housing.
