Big congratulations to Wagoner High School softball standout Juliana “Goose” Hutchens on making history! 🥎
Goose has officially signed with Rawlings, becoming the first high school girl ever to join Team Rawlings. What an incredible accomplishment and a proud moment for Wagoner!
Juliana has already built an amazing resume — including being named MVP of the 2025 WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup and earning the #1 ranking in the 2027 class. Her hard work, talent, and dedication continue to put Wagoner on the map.

The WHS Band had a special audience today! 🎶
Our first and second graders enjoyed a fun concert where they not only got to hear the band perform, but also had the chance to see, touch, and learn about the different instruments. Students were excited to explore how each instrument works and what makes its sound unique.
Thank you to the WHS Band members for sharing your talents and helping inspire the next generation of musicians!

Happy Spring Break!

Eighth graders took an exciting step toward high school today during pre-enrollment! 🎓
Students met to discuss course options, explore opportunities, and begin planning their path for next year. This is always an exciting time as our future freshmen start thinking about the classes, activities, and goals they want to pursue in high school.
We are proud of these students as they begin preparing for the next chapter of their educational journey! 📚✨

Mrs. Jones’ Health Class had a special guest speaker this week, and our students loved it!
Sheridan Jones Fox, WHS Class of 2015, shared her journey from high school to a career in nursing. She earned her B.S. in Biology from Oklahoma State University in 2019 and completed her RN & BSN in just 14 months through the accelerated nursing program at University of Oklahoma College of Nursing in 2020.
Sheridan has served as an ER nurse at Hastings and with Cherokee Nation for two years, worked as an OR nurse, and now also contributes on the educational side of nursing in the operating room.
She spoke with students about stress—what causes it, how it affects the body, and healthy coping mechanisms. She even taught them a relaxation technique she learned in college!
We love seeing our graduates come back and pour into the next generation. Thank you, Sheridan, for investing in our students! ❤️

Ellington and Teague dress up days!

🚨Reminder🚨

We are so excited to share some wonderful news for Ellington! 🎉
Jennifer Biffle, our amazing Speech Pathologist at Ellington, recently received a generous $4,000 grant from Lake Region Electric Cooperative to purchase a Spot Vision Screener for our Special Education program!
This incredible piece of equipment will help us quickly and accurately identify vision concerns in our students, allowing us to better support their learning and overall success. Early detection makes a huge difference, and this tool will be a game-changer for our SPED team and the students they serve.
We are so thankful for community partners like Lake Region who invest in our kids and our schools. And a big congratulations and THANK YOU to Jennifer for her dedication to our students every single day! ❤️📚

Now through April 22!
