students in drivers ed car

Wagoner Public Schools provides a comprehensive Drivers Education program, equipping students with essential skills and knowledge for safe and responsible driving practices. Our program comprises a structured curriculum encompassing 6 hours of practical driving instruction complemented by 30 hours of in-depth classroom learning. In the classroom setting, students delve into critical topics outlined in the drivers manual, meticulously preparing for the permit test to ensure proficiency and confidence behind the wheel.

Upon successful completion of our program, students receive a certificate with multifaceted benefits. This certification not only serves as a testament to their dedication to safe driving but also holds tangible advantages, including potential reductions in insurance premiums. Furthermore, our program emphasizes adherence to safety regulations, culminating in the attainment of a coveted Work Zone Safe Certificate. This certification, mandated by the State Department of Transportation effective November 1, underscores our commitment to instilling not only driving proficiency but also a deep-rooted sense of responsibility on the road.
