Wagoner Public Schools

The Diversity Club members at the HS participated in the 1st "Lunch with Legends". Students enjoyed guest Mr. Larry Abernathy and his wife Jennifer as well as Mrs. Ozella and her daughter Sharon Wilkins Edward. They shared stories of Lincoln school and the transition of desegregation. The students loved hearing and seeing the information. They had several questions and learned a lot! We were able to show them all the work the students have done in the building. They decorated classroom doors and made a walking museum to celebrate Black History Month! It was a great day!
